Manchester City is enjoying a fairly successful time in this season as they are topping the Premier League alongside Chelsea and Arsenal as they are the top 3 teams that are making a charge at the title.

A position that they seemed to be struggling with however was in the spot between the posts as Joe Hart was underperforming since his disastrous performance when they faced off against Chelsea and a mistake from the English goalkeeper cost his team the match.

From there on out Pellegrini had his doubts on whether or not to keep Joe Hart as his main man in the back of the defence and constantly switching him out with Costel Pantilimon. The last 2 performances of Joe Hart has seen him making a dramatic change and is now quickly regaining the confidence of his coach back as well as the fans.

Joe Hart was even named as the best player on the pitch during Manchester City’s match against Crystal Palace as they won 1-0 but the English goalkeeper had his work cut out for him in order to keep the clean sheet.

According to the Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho, he is so surprised about Manchester City’s season that he insists in saying that the team of Manuel Pellegrini is favorites on winning the Premier League title this season and maybe even the Champions League.

“I keep saying there is a big difference between Manchester City and the other teams,” he told reporters. It’s not just about quality, other teams have quality, us too. But [it is about] maturity, the number of players, the group of strikers, physicality, experience’’.

‘’City are the favorites, for us, for Arsenal, for Liverpool, to be around the top is a good achievement. In our case it’s important people learn how to play these matches against the top sides.” Mourinho said when asked about the possible Premier League champions.
